Their latest lamp series embodies this mission: each piece combines layered felt shades made from waste-stream merino felted wool and a base crafted from Suberra, a high-density cork material (made from the material leftover from the cork wine-stopper industry.)" image: https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hubfs/STACKA~1.jpg --- × #### MENU - [Home](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/) - [Architectural Products](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/brands/) - [Solutions](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/#toInspire) - [Services](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/products/ecocuts/) - [Projects](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/case-studies) - [Samples](https://info.ecosupplycenter.com/samples) - [Pro Resources](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/professional-resources/) - [--](http://#) - [About](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/about-us) - [Store](https://shop.ecosupplycenter.com/) - [Blog](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/blog) - [Contact](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/contact/) - [Search Our Site](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/search-results) - [1-800-883-7005](tel:+18008837005) [All Case Studies](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/case-studies) [![](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hubfs/blog-assets/logo.png)](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/blog) Menu [Project](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/case-studies) # Suberra Cork Sustainable Lamp Bases for STACKABL **Materials** Suberra Cork **Design By** STACKABL & The Rockwell Group **Application** Lamp Bases **Industry** Furnishings **Location** Available Nationwide [STACKABL](https://www.stackabl.shop/) is reshaping modern design by turning manufacturing surplus into customizable furniture and lighting. Their latest lamp series embodies this mission: each piece combines layered felt shades made from waste-stream merino felted wool and a base crafted from [Suberra, a high-density cork material](https://www.ecosupplycenter.com/products/suberra/) (made from the material leftover from the cork wine-stopper industry.) ![STACKA~1](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/STACKA~1.jpg?width=4500&height=3214&name=STACKA~1.jpg) Suberra is more than a sustainable material—it’s a structural one. With the same density as hardwood and natural antibacterial properties, it offers the strength and stability needed for a lamp base while keeping the tactile warmth and visual softness of cork. STACKABL selected it not just for the environmental story, but because it machines cleanly, accepts stains well, and balances the visual weight of the design. ![Stackabl x Rockwell Group-Shift 20-Photo by Patrick Biller-5](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Shift%2020-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-5.jpg?width=1200&height=1500&name=Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Shift%2020-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-5.jpg) > "Ecosupply was immediately helpful with prototyping and extensive bulk pricing exercises as well as getting involved in detailed design for production discussions. The entire EcoSupply team were all very helpful and professional every step of the way." ![STACKA~3](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/STACKA~3.jpg?width=3600&height=4500&name=STACKA~3.jpg) The result is a product that feels as good as it looks, in every sense. By pairing modular design with conscious material sourcing, STACKABL proves that sustainability can be integral to aesthetics—not an afterthought. It's a simple equation: smarter materials make more meaningful objects. *All Photos by Patrick Biller at 115 Larchmount designed by Superkül*   ![Stackabl x Rockwell Group-Tilt 11-Photo by Patrick Biller-2](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Tilt%2011-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-2.jpg?w=450&h=450&fm=jpg&q=70&fl=progressive&fit=crop&width=450&height=450&name=Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Tilt%2011-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-2.jpg) ![Stackabl x Rockwell Group-Tilt 06-Photo by Patrick Biller-5](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Tilt%2006-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-5.jpg?w=450&h=450&fm=jpg&q=70&fl=progressive&fit=crop&width=450&height=450&name=Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Tilt%2006-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-5.jpg) ![Stackabl x Rockwell Group-Shift 46-Photo by Patrick Biller-7](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Shift%2046-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-7.jpg?w=450&h=450&fm=jpg&q=70&fl=progressive&fit=crop&width=450&height=450&name=Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Shift%2046-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-7.jpg) ![Stackabl x Rockwell Group-Shift 36-Photo by Patrick Biller-2](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Shift%2036-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-2.jpg?w=450&h=450&fm=jpg&q=70&fl=progressive&fit=crop&width=450&height=450&name=Stackabl%20x%20Rockwell%20Group-Shift%2036-Photo%20by%20Patrick%20Biller-2.jpg) ![STACKA~2](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/STACKA~2.jpg?w=450&h=450&fm=jpg&q=70&fl=progressive&fit=crop&width=450&height=450&name=STACKA~2.jpg) ![Stackabl x Rockwell Group-In situ-Photo by Patrick Biller at 115 Larchmount designed by Superkül-7](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hubfs/STACKA~1.jpe?w=450&h=450&fm=jpg&q=70&fl=progressive&fit=crop) ![](https://blog.ecosupplycenter.com/hs-fs/hubfs/aia_continuing_education_provider_logo_rgb.png?width=120&name=aia_continuing_education_provider_logo_rgb.png) ### Want to learn more about Cork?
