The Declare label, also known as "The Nutrition Label for Products," sets a sustainable design , focused on manufacturing transparency and tracking the life cycle of materials. The International Living Future Institute, created the Declare label to support the more extensive and more rigorous Living Building Challenge (LBC).
Launched in 2012, Declare has positively changed the materials marketplace by offering ease-of-use to both manufacturers and specifiers to facilitate the exchange of information and enable a future of healthier buildings.
