CitiBin is a perfect example of Richlite’s ability to combine sustainable solutions with aesthetic appeal. CitiBin’s products are designed for city homes as a way to conceal exterior trash receptacles in a visually pleasing and long lasting way. Unlike wood, plastic, or metal, the Richlite used by CitiBin will not warp or corrode from exposure to weather. Richlite holds up against the wear of rain, heat, and temperature change. Because Richlite is composed of FSC® Certified or recycled paper and processed in a closed-loop energy system, the environmental impact of the material’s production is minimal. Richlite is harder than wood, fire and scratch resistant, and because it is a solid color all the way through any scratches or wear will hardly alter the visual appeal of CitiBin products. Because Citibin uses Richlite, the enclosures offer longevity in the face of urban exterior environments. The impact resistant material not only holds up against the weather, but the potential for wear from higher residency areas. The visual appeal of the containers increases property value in an environmentally conscious fashion. Because Citibin enclosures are modular they can be used for single homes or multi-residential condos. The customizable enclosures are offered with optional planters on the tops that are recommended as a way to further enhance the appearance of your home’s exterior, while consolidating space in a close city setting where room for gardening is often limited. CitiBin offers enclosures in two colors, coffee or slate, and in a variety of sizes including 2-can models, 3-can corner models, or larger number rows for higher residency buildings.
