We have once again collaborated with Jessica at Cheese Grotto to create a more affordable, space sensitive version of the original Cheese Grotto.

You can get ahead of the action by helping to fund their crowdfunding campaign on Women You Should Fund. The campaign rewards feature several extras that we helped develop as well. For example, the Adagio Cheese Server, made with Richlite Stratum. They already over 90% funded!

About the Grotto Fresco

The Grotto Fresco has a smaller footprint of 7 inches by 9 inches with a height of 8 inches, making it the perfect size for the metropolitan cheese lover with a smaller refrigerator who loves entertaining on the weekends. Shelving heights accommodate just about any cheese.

Birch wood has been traditionally used in cheese preservation for hundreds of years. Its tight surface is slower to absorb and release moisture, making it excellent for long-term storage. The finished birch featured in this model is sustainably made, non-toxic, and specially selected to resist mold and stains, both in the interior and exterior.

The sustainable bamboo plywood shelves cultivate the flavor and texture of the cheese, and help it ripen.

It features a bio-based, non-toxic, anti-microbial floor made of linseed oil which helps naturally regulate any mold growth and the genuine leather tab makes for an easy grip on the sliding door. To maintain optimal humidity, simply moisten the brick once a week for two minutes, and place directly on the anti-microbial floor.

The back panel is breathable, making for a perfect climate for simple, long-term storage of wedges and wheels of cheese in the refrigerator.

The Grotto Fresco will be available for pre-order at cheesegrotto.com on October 24th , 2017 and will retail for $250.
